today was the first day of my last semester. it was alright!
the first cup of coffee of the day is always the best. followed closely by the second and third cup.
this plant has been sitting on my desk as long as I've had my job (almost 6 years). my work is in the basement of a dorm with absolutely no natural light whatsoever. it was the same size for five years until last semester, when it inexplicably began growing bigger! we can't figure out how it can possibly be alive, let alone be growing...
between classes I stopped by the bike shop to visit eric since I had a few hours to kill. I also needed help with my seat--the bolt on the seat clamp was so old that it was pretty much completely round, and as I was riding my seat slowly slipped down and the nose slipped up.
the MOUNTAIN STORM is a horrible, old, heavy mountain bike I bought for $10 from the thrift store to ride as a winter beater. so far it's been pretty good--it powered through the piles of snow, ice, and slush all day without any slipping! I am thoroughly enjoying making this bike as ugly as possible.
also found just a teeny bit of mold inside the shop's french press....yuck...
the MOUNTAIN STORM was super drippy...
coffee is TOO HOT.
